Join the TMO today

The TMO manages almost 10,000 homes on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We are a company limited by guarantee and have a membership that elect the Board.

Who can join?

Anyone who is a tenant, leaseholder, or registered occupier living in the Borough’s housing stock as their main residence – aged 18 years or over.

What does joining commit me to?

TMO Membership is FREE. As a member, we will keep you informed of company business but you are not forced to get involved, attend meetings or elections – although it is hoped that you will. In the unlikely event that the TMO Company is wound up, you may be asked to pay a maximum of £1.00.

How will it affect my Residents’ Association?

Your Association will act as it has always done – but apart from attending the Tenants Consultative Committee, it will also have influence in the TMO.

Why join now?

You will get immediate access to TMO Membership benefits. In addition, the TMO has been properly set up as a company with Tenant Board members elected by TMO Members only. We are required to hold the Annual General Meeting and other Members meetings as required and you can only vote or influence the results at such meetings if you are a member.

Can my partner, child or lodger join?

Yes, if over 18 years old and it is their main residence.
