Local area information

Stretching from Chelsea Embankment in the south, through Kensington, Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, and up to the border of Kensal Green in the north, the Royal Borough is nevertheless one of the smallest in London. This makes us region accessible and just about any place you wish to go is such a short walk away.

The borough has over 4,000 listed buildings. Seventy percent of our land is protected by conservation areas and we are home to many of the most famous visitor attractions in London. So, whether you want to shop at Harrods, walk through Holland Park, view an exhibition at the V&A, or get carried away at the largest festival in Europe during Carnival, the Royal Borough is the prime place to be.
