
Yes. For every transfer application we receive we will ask for a reference from your housing officer. If you have high rent arrears and or possession proceedings have started against you we may not register your application until you tell us debt has been cleared.
If we are aware of any anti social behaviour that you or any member of your household have caused we may refuse your application for a transfer.
If you have lost your secure tenancy we may not consider your application. If we have refused your application due to arrears we may reconsider your application if you have cleared your debt and maintained satisfactory payments.
If we have refused your application due to anti social behaviour we are unlikely to consider your application for at least 12 months. Each application will be considered on its own merits and the applicant will be advised of the period of exclusion. You will be told how you can appeal our decision.
