
A TMO officer will meet all the interested applicants at the property. The officer will discuss any outstanding repairs, information about the property and the area in general.
If more than one person is interested in the vacancy, the person with the highest priority will be offered the vacancy. If the highest priority applicant is not sure about the property, we will give them until 10am the next day to advise us. The reason why we need a quick decision is to enable to advise other interested applicants.
We will tell you at the viewing when you can sign up with your housing officer. We will tell you what identification you need to bring to the sign up appointment. . We will also ask you to bring one weeks rent in advance in exchange for the keys. If you solely reliant on benefits and you bring a completed housing benefit form, you will be expected to pay one weeks amenities charge.
