Allocations Service surveys

The TMO strives for continuous improvements, and we regulaly carry out surveys to find out what we have done well and how we might improve. We analyse the results of our one-going surveys quarterly.

We carried out a survey of new residents recently. Here is a summary of the results and the changes that we put in place.

  • 63% of respondants felt that the information contained in the offer letter and advert was clear and useful.
  • 85% of respondants felt that the information given at the viewing was helpful and informative.
  • 67% of respondants felt that the sign up had useful information.

Following the survey we made a number of service improvement, including,

  • provide more information about the local neighbourhood
  • provide more information on the location of stopcocks and how the heating works
  • giving new tenants longer time to move into your new home
  • providing more infomation on decent homes and future projects.

Help us improve our service

We are currently looking at with your help:

  • the empty property standard in terms if repairs/cleaning/decorations
  • the cost of re-letting our properties
  • making adverts clearer and easier to understand
  • giving you clearer and more frequent information regarding the properties we have let under
  • choice based lettings
  • the ways we advertise our properties
  • We are currently reviewing our letting process.

We are working with residents to see how we can improve our service, meet your needs and our standards and let properties efficiently and effectively.

In fact, even if you haven’t moved home, we would be interested to hear what you think.
