Audit Inspection 2006

The Audit Commission has awarded the TMO “3 Stars with excellent prospects for improvement.” This is the highest possible rating that can be awarded and only a handful of housing organisations nationally have achieved such an accolade. The award follows two weeks of rigorous scrutiny by a team of inspectors from the Audit Commission.

The inspectors commended the TMO highly for working with residents to build stronger communities. Their report went on to say:

"The TMO is highly ambitious, with clear aims that are the result of extensive consultation. The organisation demonstrates strong community leadership and uses well-developed local and regional partnerships to deliver its broad aspirations and strategic ambitions."
