Making payments to the TMO

It is important that you pay your rent, major works bills and service charges on time as these pay for the services that we provide you.

The TMO is able to offer you advice on dealing with debt. If you are having trouble making payments please contact us immediately and we will do all we can to assist you: freephone 0800 137 111 or email ContactUs@kctmo.org.uk.

Payment methods

Please remember to use your TMO payment swipe card when paying your rent, service charges or parking and garage charges. You can pay your rent using any of the methods below.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the easiest way to make payments to the TMO, including rent, service charges and parking payments.

To apply, simply download the relevant form:

At any post office

You can pay with cash or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to The Post Office Ltd. You will need your swipe card. Please allow three days for the payment to reach us.

By Phone

If you have a debit card, (e.g. Switch or Delta), you can call 020 7361 3868.

By Post

Please send a cheque or postal order to The Director of Finance, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX.

By Housing Benefit direct payment

If you are claiming Housing Benefit it will usually be paid direct to us. Remember though, your Housing Benefit does not cover the full amount of your rent. Please ensure that you make arrangements to pay us the outstanding amount.

At the Town Hall

You can make payments by cheque or debit card at the Payments Office at the Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX.

By Standing Order

You can make payments by standing order. Simply download the Standing Order Form [PDF] (747kb) and send it to your bank.
